Gebal

The second largest autonomous polity on Uman, consisting of several small landmasses. This includes four landmasses connected by land bridges and bordering Masqat, five large island settlements, and a settlement on the eastern coast of Lacant's primary continent. This contentious positioning is owed to Gebal's zealous expansionism, brought to bear as recently as two decades ago, spreading as far into the sea between Uman's main continents. Gebal maintains a large sea navy that controls Uman's primary sea, patrolling and escorting trade between their primary settlements. Every large settlement Gebal maintains has developed into a large port city, and what limited trade happens between Uman's polities almost exclusively goes through Gebal. Gebal's single PSG is located in the sea, off the west coast of Gebal's main landmass. A parliament of 16 cabinet members, each with a specialized federal focus, handle the responsibilities of authority over Gebal. However, each of Gebal's main settlements maintain majority authority over themselves and their surrounding territory. Confederated into a single polity, much of their culture is shared, along trade lines and military alliances.
