Karim Syndicate

An organized crime family operating in the CapMet. The largest in the CapMet by far, their reach extends throughout the entire city, and even beyond into the greater Asmara Region as well. The family operates discreetly and professionally, and high ranking members are rarely ever convicted of any crimes themselves. In fact, high profile members often live in luxury, becoming popular VIPs of Misr's boroughs.
The family's previous head, Faisal Karim, was confirmed dead very recently, from long standing heart complications. With the head of the Syndicate gone, multiple up-and-coming members of the family seek to fill the vacuum of his absence. With this vacuum has come a lull in both activity and responsibility, allowing smaller groups to start muscling in on Karim territory. One such group is the Ice Sharks in the outer boroughs of Mibah.
