CapMet

The heavily urbanized and densely packed capital of Tangah. It covers the area of a small country, and is simultaneously one of the most technologically advanced and disparate places in the Sector. The city is seperated into 186 boroughs, many of which blend together, but which spiral out from the center of the metropolis. At its center is the Jubilee Tower, a massive skyscraper that doubles as a communications hub for the metropolis. All hegemonic operations are coordinated from here, allowing for the upkeep of such a massive population in such a densely populated area.

Structure

CapMet's central boroughs are incredibly advanced; the use of grav vehicles and automated transportation is common, medical technology is advanced and prevalent, and infrastructure is kept pristine. The consistency of this level of technology drops off as you travel further from the central boroughs, at its edges devolving into densely packed urban sprawl, and even including some slum boroughs on the outskirts. The metropolis is split into three concentric, circular groups for the purpose of federation voting blocks; Misr, Magrit, and Hibah. Each is designated a portion of the 200 house seats assigned to Tangah proportional to their population. Misr, the central boroughs, have a population of about 48 million, and represent the upper echelon of CapMet society. They inhabit the 43 boroughs in the center of CapMet, and are represented by 46 of Tangah's federal house seats. Magrit makes up the inner boroughs, surrounding the center of CapMet. It has a population of just over 100 million, and consists of the majority of Tangah's work force. They inhabit 89 boroughs in a rough circle around Misr, and are represented by 96 of Tangah's federal house seats. The final group, Mibah, forms a loose chain of outer boroughs around CapMet. It's population of roughly 60 million is largely lower class, with the fringes plagued with slum villages and high crime rates. It consists of 54 thin boroughs, represented by 58 of Tangah's federal house seats.
