Asmara Region

A region of stars in the stellar south east of Sector One, forming a chain ending in a triad of stars that are considered the “civilized” space of the Sector by some. The region is colloquially known as “The Arm” due to its shape. The three stars that make up the triad are the core worlds of the powerful Asmaran Federation, known by some as “The Hand Asmara” or simply “Hand”. Those stars belonging to the Asmaran Edge are not part of the Federation sphere of influence, either due to distance or active rejection of integration. The Asmaran region is unique in that inter-system trade on a large scale has partially returned, allowing for higher specialisation of Federation member planets.
