Hatomi Remingale

Hatomi served as the seventh Eastwind between S210 and S249.

Personal History

Hatomi was born in S161, four years after her older brother Makusi. As the grandchildren of Kobo Remingale, they grew up at Takai Basho in the High Court of Zonyashi. Despite being given the best care, Makusi passed away from a chronic sickness in S181.
Koba died in S188, making Hatomi's mother, Akasuki Remingale, the sixth Eastwind.
In S191 she gave birth to her son, Hirohisha. A year later she gave birth to her daughter, Hide.
Akasuki died in S210, at which time Hatomi became the seventh Eastwind.
In S232 Hatomi received a copy of The Sword from Silia Lai and the two communicated about many of the issues that Shudan faced at the time. Lai was especially focused on fixing The Fade, something that Hatomi wished she could contribute more to but it was far from her area of expertise.
In S235 she re-established Mahoryo, recognizing the value of letting experts of magic lead the fight against magic.
In S238 she committed a large portion of the Ironbound for Mythea of the Cobalt Scar and Lai's plan to plant trees along the eastern border of the country to slow the Fade.
When she died in S249 her son Hirohisha became the eighth Eastwind.
