Iron Guild

One of the four main guilds that hold power in Ahonato. The Iron Guild serves as the city's main peacekeeping force. Although they operate throughout the city, their main office is the Iron Hall in the Low Quarter.
After the Hisashi Clan largely abandoned Ahonato in favor of Honomin Kou, they began paying the Iron Guild to maintain order on their behalf. The heads of the Iron Guild pocket as much of the payment as they can, passing only minimal amounts to the undertrained mercenaries and thugs that they employ. These employees, often referred to as the Iron Guard, are so underpayed that they are always on the look out for additional ways to earn coin.
