Osen Atsutane

Osen served as Regent of Nanganato between S140 and S149, Daimyo of the Southern Province between S143 and S149, and head of the Atsutane Clan between S149 and S185.

Personal History

Osen is born in S119, a year before her younger brother Ochen. Their father, Hidehira Atsutane, was both the Regent of Nanganato and Daimyo of the Southern Province at the time.
In S139 Osen's son Sanjiro was born.
In S140 she accepted the position of Regent from her father, and after his death three years later she also accepted the position of Daimyo of the South.
In S144 her daughter Shura was born.
In S149, following the death of Tayako Atsutane who had no direct descendants of his own, Osen became the defacto head of the Atsutane Clan on top of her other duties. This led her to help get her brother Ochen to take her Regent and Daimyo positions for himself.
In S159, on her son's 20th birthday, she assigned him the role of Regent of Nanganto. Unfortunately he passed in S181, at which time Osen assigned the position to her daughter Shura.
Osen continued to serve as the head of the clan until her death in S185.
