Sanjiro Atsutane
Served as the High Shield between S171 and S181 and as the Regent of Nanganato between S159 and S181.
Personal History
Sanjiro was born in S139, and grew up at Shimaho in the Sky Ward of Nanganato. His mother, Osen Atsutane, became the Regent of Nanganato in S140, Daimyo of the Southern Province in S143, and head of the Atsutane Clan in S149. Sanjiro was a dedicated paladin of Hiega and held great responsibility at the Temple of Hiega. In S159 he took over the role of Regent of Nanganato from his mother. In S161 he married Kuyo. In S163 their first daughter was born, Kiriu. In S165 their first son was born, Sankai. In S166 their second daughter was born, Yono. Sanjiro accepted the title of High Shield in S171, when Morishige Highshield stepped down. Sanjiro died in S181.
