Ota Amari

Born into the Amari Family in Nanganato. Ota carried out services for the Order of Hiega as earlier as she was able to walk and talk, starting with simple cleaning and sweeping, and eventually serving as a highly trained paladin.
In S70 she was granted the title of High Shield when she took over operations of the order in Nanganato.
In S87 she received the Manastorm after the death of Kansa the Eastwind. Following Kansa's death, many began to question Kanagi Remingale and whether he was fit to serve as the third Eastwind. Owing to the restoration of magic, many believed that Kansa's favored organization, the Order of Hiega was due to retake power and let magic reign as it had during the time of The Hotsukai. Ota supported Kansa's choice of successor though, and along with the Order she supported Kanagi, which helped to quell the opposition.
In S107, following the death of Kanagi Remingale, Ota backed his son Keikan Remingale to become the next Eastwind. Thanks in part to this support, Keikan did so.
In S109, at the age of 79, she formally stepped down as the High Shield and passed on both the title and Manastorm to Coda Highshield.
