Shudan
Prior to the year H1, south central Tasinem was nothing more than a loosely associated collection of towns and small cities. It was through the years long efforts of Xue Luoyang that they were at last unified under a single banner. At that time he declared himself the Hotsukai, wizard king, of the newly founded country of Shudan. His rule persisted two and a half centuries, utimately culminating in The Schism and three years later the founding of the Shudan Shogunate which now guides the growth of the country.
The Shogunate is led by the Eastwind, and governance of the country is largely divided among the four great clans of Shudan:
