The Sons of Solsemon

The Sons of Solsemon were worshippers of Heliod who felt inspired by the story of their namesake, Paragon Oracle Solsemon, The Voyager, to travel to Blood Crescent and commit themselves to bringing their gods order and justice to all corners of Sfaíyra. Established by his niece, Ermioni, who travelled with him on his famous pilgrimage, the order has ever since worked to do everything it can to seek out areas of the world where injustice and barbarism prevail and stamp it out. Most famously, this begun with The First Solar Crusade as they tried to tame The Demon Wastes. Technically, this is still ongoing. Similar crusades have been called in Icewhite Island, The Shadow Marches and continents further afield from Khorvaire, all to varying degrees of success and perseverance. Whilst the scale of these crusades can vary, most remote areas of Sfaíyra have at least a small presence of the Sons of Solsemon and joining of their forces is seen across Khorvaire as a decent ticket to either adventure or escape from a troubled past life.
