The Dreamlands
Many of the reptilian cultures claim that the souls of the dead travel to a place called the Dreamlands. In that place, their vital essence is said to heal and rejuvenate the world and their emotions, memories, and knowledge lend to the birth of new loa.
Some stories warn of souls being prevented from entering the Dreamlands. Such a story was told by Sinzil, the trapped spirit of an Anasazi shaman.
