Centurion

Requirements

Must carry an active rank of Aren and have 4+ years of service in the Agosian military

Appointment

Centurions are appointed by their commanding officer (Brigadier) as needed. During peace time, there may be a ceremony held by the Brigadier for the Centurions and Arens to attend but it is at the whim of the Brigadier.

Duties

Centurions are responsible as the highest level of leadership for a Century (100 soldiers). They are responsible for tactical strategy to achieve objectives set by the Brigadier. They are also responsible for taking care of the morale of their soldiers, enforcing military law and codes of conduct, and ensuring that the Century is acting in the best interest of the Kingdom.

Benefits

Centurions are granted a small parcel of land when they retire and are compensated based on rank, years of service, and distinction (at the discretion of the Crown).

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

Centurions can be dismissed due to either physical or mental limitation such as injury or due to beach of conduct and/or criminal behavior.
