Dunethel (DOO-neth-el)

The city of Dunethel, the capital of the empire of Dunor, is considered to be the oldest city in Sildair. It is built around the Great Pantheon, an ancient temple said to have been commissioned by Asgal the Golden, the first Emperor of Dunor. In the Silver Age, Dunethel is still probably the largest city in the world, and an important trade hub, though it is partly overshadowed by Sarka in the north, after having been sacked many times, most notably during the Second War of Ashes.
