Melkor (MEL-core)
(a.k.a. She-Li'et-Gaeloth [Elvish], Paskoru [Dwarven])
Melkor, the God of Murder, is a creation, sometimes called the son, of Baal. During the events of The Maiming of Liadriel Baal stole the severed arm of his brother Liadriel, and ran away to a secret place, where he used the arm to form Melkor. Wishing deeply for a child, and having failed with Xarum, he succeeded to give life to Melkor, because of the immortal and divine power contained within Liadriel's severed arm. During the War of Ashes, Melkor was an unstoppable force of murder and mayhem, until he was finally stopped by Morgesh who slew him, and cast his body into the underdark. He hasn't been seen since, but the Dark Elves still worship him, believing he continues to live on as a vampire.
