Stonekin - Goliaths

Stonekin, also sometimes called Giantkin or Goliaths are one of the Younger Races, that came into being during the War of Ashes. according to their own legends the Stonekin were formed from Brightkin whom Ethelaius imbued with the strength of the mountains, making them powerful and unrelenting warriors, to fight for the Gods in the war.

Biological Traits

Stonekin have stonecoloured skin: Brown or reddish brown, flint coloured blue/black, and, most commonly, grey. Their hair almost always is a shade of grey, from black to white.

The Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition rules for Goliath, also known as Stonekin, in Sildair:

ability score increase: Hybrid Goliaths increase CON by 1, and choose to Increase STR or WIS by 1. Full race Goliaths also increase their STR and CON by 1.

age: Goliaths have a natural lifespan between 70 and 90 years.

Hybrid Features:
Strength of the Hills: All Goliaths get an inherant +1 in the athletics skill, on top of their Strength modifier, and before any proficiency is added.
Born of Stone: Goliaths have resistance to cold damage, and they count as one size larger when determining their carrying capacity and the weight they can push, drag, or lift.

Full Race Features:
Strength of the Mountain: Full race Goliaths get a further +1 in the athletics skill, on top of their Strength modifier, to a total of +2 with "Strength of the Hills".
Stone's Endurance: When goliaths take damage, they can use their reaction to roll a d12. They add their Constitution modifier to the number rolled and reduce the damage by that total. They can use this trait a number of times equal to their proficiency bonus, and they regain all expended uses when they finish a long rest.
