The Silver Epoch

The Silver Epoch is the current era of Sildairan history. It started with the end of the Second War of Ashes, and has been going for hundreds of years. There is no agreed upon rule for when, or if, the Silver Epoch would be considered ended, and most scholars and astronomers simply await an occurance significant enough that it would warrant starting a new epoch.
Following the notation system of the Dunorian Calendar, it is abreviated SE. An example of a date would be the the beginning of the War of Succession which is written as "32. Looming, 453 SE", and is spoken as: "The 32nd of Looming in the 453rd year of the Silver Epoch."
