Chasme is a Demonic entity that dwells within The abyss These grotesque demons are known for their insectoid appearance and their ability to spread disease and despair.
Chasmes resemble oversized flies with a humanoid upper body, bat-like wings, and a barbed tail. Their bodies are covered in chitinous armor, and their multiple eyes gleam with malevolence. They emit a constant droning sound that is both unsettling and hypnotic.
These demons possess a unique ability to induce a state of deep sleep in creatures nearby. When their buzzing drone reaches its peak, those within range can fall into a magical slumber, leaving them vulnerable to the Chasme's attacks.
Chasmes delight in spreading disease and affliction. They carry an aura of pestilence that weakens the health and vitality of those around them. They relish in the suffering caused by their presence, thriving in environments of decay and desolation.
In combat, Chasmes rely on their fly-like agility and the ability to drain the life force of their victims. They can launch their bodies into the air, swooping down to strike with their sharp claws and bite with venomous fangs
