Elemental plane of air

The Elemental Plane of Air is one of the Inner planes . It borders the Elemental plane of ice and the Elemental Plane of Smoke , while containing the Elemental Plane of Lightning and the Elemental Plane of Vacuum . This realm is characterized by an endless sky with clouds drifting about, some supporting structures such as buildings, small towns, and even colossal castles. Devoid of natural earth, the plane imports all of its terrestrial elements from other realms. The majority of the plane's inhabitants possess the power of flight, including creatures like aarakocra and air djinn . A few, unable to fly, still call it their home, with many serving as slaves to the djinn. The primary means of travel between clouds is through invisible, ever-changing pathways made of air. The natives navigate these pathways without interfering with their flights. The plane is governed by a djinn named Azzooh al-Iyaifa , one of the oldest djinns in existence and a ruler of the elemental planes . Azzooh leads alongside the other , with additional subordinate djinns and numerous servants under his command.
