Elemental Plane of Smoke

Positioned between the Elemental plane of fire and air , the Smoke plane is a desolate wasteland. Its mountainous terrain harbors sparse, half-dead plants and vents emitting poisonous gas. Breathable air is scarce.
Predominantly inhabited by fire and smoke elementals, particularly common are smoke Mephits . Few mortals willingly reside here, most of the others are enslaved mainly by fire djinns . These unfortunate souls toil in slave camps, harvesting toxic gas for trade. The camps serve as punishment, disposal for disobedient slaves, and trials for new captives. Survival is rare, with most enduring no more than a year, some enduring decades but not without severe physical toll.
