Threefold Alliance
The Threefold Alliance is a defensive pact created by the nations of Gohae, Kaolao, and Mailnaira. It evolved out of an agreement between Kaolao and Gohae in the face of escalating tensions in the Verdant Sea. Mailnaira was also added as a signatory shortly after, when the Barion Commonwealth initiated its invasion of Hulnaira. Its core agreement is defensive; should any one of the nations be subject to an act of war, the alliance would collectively declare war upon the agressor.
This primary clause was invoked after Barion forces conquered the Ai Ahura, a small group of true land isles belonging to Mailnaira in mid 936.
