White Silence Clan
We are not different from the other Kinari. We use our resources well and give people purpose. We do it differently from the others.
Appearence
Their beauty lies in their fragile-looking bodies and glowing eyes. You will find them beautiful and fear them at the same time.Members of the White Silence Clan have white fur with black bellies. Their tails are white with black tips, and their eyes are either red, pink, or violet. Their bodies are often skinny, fragile-looking, and slender. Most members of the clan are rather short for a Kinari as well. They prefer white or dark clothes over fancy-looking ones or bright-colored ones.
Behavior
Success beats MoralSuccess and personal growth are the main goals for any member of the White Silence Clan. They are known for being egoistic and for ignoring common moral rules. For them, only the result is important.
Food was sparse in our region and due to the recent floods, help would not come. Agriminia, the Kinari ruler of the White Silence Clan, had to decide how to handle the situation. She calculated the exact amount of food she had in reserve and made a harsh decision. Her clan members visited each village and sorted the members into three groups: Essential, Useful, and Burden. The people who were put in the burden group were absorbed by the Kinari to avoid using the limited reserves for their survival. It was mainly elder people, but also the ill and those who got hurt during the recent storms. Their souls were often used to create strong, but temporarily Golems, that helped in repairing the roofs or build dams to prevent further destructions in the villages and essential road connections. Several smaller settlements outside the bigger villages were forsaken as resources for maintaining the road network were still limited. In the end, the villages survived and flourished after the bridges and tunnels were repaired and trade returned to the villages. The result was the best outcome, but at what price?
In many stories, especially in regions that have no direct contact with members of the clan, the Kinari of White Silence appear as shady characters, often outright villains that only seek out their gains and easily sacrifice others for it. The truth is more complex. They indeed have hearts for their people, yet not in the same fluffy way as other Kinari. They are master necromancers and golemancers, well educated in how to place souls into formerly lifeless objects or bodies. They see no value in upholding a painful existence, nor in maintaining a less efficient method if a new better one is available. Most members see no value in traditions but only want the best results for themselves and their people. Graveyards, places of recent disasters, and battles are working like a light for them. The rich density of available souls, as well as fresh bodies for necrotic experiments or necromantic rituals, lures them in. They have no worries about getting their hands dirty and care not about what others think of them. Near hospitals, they are also often found to seek to reduce the burden on the doctors by giving those who cannot be rescued the final push and welcoming them into their Inner Worlds. As rulers, they prefer smaller communities over big cities to rule over. Especially younger clan members often travel to such rural regions in search of new experiences and knowledge. In the Confederation of Kinary, they do have not the best reputation inside the bigger cities, or in the military, but many rural areas that they control flourish under their skilled hands. They are not merciful, but also not cruel. If a situation requires a quick solution, the other clans often send them instead of handling it themselves, especially if the situation is a dilemma with no morally good solutions available. The White Silence Clan also operates a network of spies and agents in other nations and is the main source of information for the other clans.If you want to brute force a solution, send a Red Flower Kinari. If you want to warm the hearts of others and unite them in peace and cooperation, send a Golden Tail one. But if you want pure results, the best possible outcome no matter the decisions necessary to achieve it, then give the task to one of White Silence.
Magic

I am informing you about it, not asking for your permission. You may visit him at any time, but please don't disturb his work.The flow of souls and the bodily functions of their followers are well understood by them. White Silence Kinari are necromancers, golemmancers, and also well suited in illusion magic. They can easily hide themselves and avoid the eyes of others. By being excellent necromancers, they also understood bodies like no other Kinari, which makes them rather good doctors as well. After all, those who know well how to reanimate recent dead bodies, have a good understanding of how the bodies died and which ones are the most useless and stable as well. While many fear them for their disrespect of life and the dead, they also have many followers who see the results of their magic and the good it can bring in many hopeless situations. A single Kinari of them can turn the tide of a battle simply by reanimating friend and foe.
History
The White Silence Clan appears in many tales, myths, and stories over the millennia, yet till the Confederation of Kinary founding, there exists no clear line of events that is connected to the clan itself. It is known that they are direct descendants of Goldie Kitsune, the goddess that created all Kinari. The first of their clan, her name, and when exactly she was reborn is unknown and result in many fairytales and myths. In most tales, they appear after battles to clean up behind others, but it is often unclear if they were involved in the prior situation itself or not. They are shy of the spotlight and prefer to stay in the dark of history. It is known that during the War of the Gods and after that, they fought against the Theocracy of Atlantis and won many battles against them. Most of these battles were not fair and their ways of handling the situations unworthy of being called heroic, even while the results indeed were beyond the expectations of most. One documented battle is the following.In 721 BC, at the height of the power of the Atlantean Empire, their armies marched through rebel territories around the area that was later known as the Nagaby Wetlands on the island of Avavu, west of the main continent of Atlanesis. During this time, however, the land masses were still connected. The army of Atlantis, equipped with the best firearms, golem-machines, and slave soldiers available, was sure of its victory. The city of Nasyra had rebelled against the empire and the local farmers had united under an infamous Kinari named Nikilia Ario. Instead of having a single big battle, however, Nikilia and her rebels cut supply lines and attacked the scouts and the rear forces again and again. Villages that the army wanted to plunder for food were already burned down by the rebels to prevent the army from resupplying. In an excellent planned move, the army of Atlantis used a decoy troop while turning differently and attacking a small town unexpectedly. The locals were helpless against the appearing army and were enslaved. The army refilled their supplies and ate well for the first time in weeks. In the next morning, however, half the army was dead and on the horizon, a single Kinari appeared: Nikilia. Her ritual took the whole night, but as she finally released her powerful necromantic spell, the dead troops rose again and fights broke out in the army. While the living were able to hold out well, they soon realized that under the reanimated undead were many comrades they lost during the recent weeks, all used now by the Kinari to fight them. The army was destroyed and Nikilia absorbed all souls herself, including those of her undead horde. They had fulfilled their worth after all and were not needed after the battle. Legends tell that under the small town, which is today a part of the bigger city of Nasyra, the remains of the army were still buried deep.
As the Red Flower Clan and the Golden Tail Clan began their conquest for their nation, it was unclear for awhile how the White Silence Clan would react. They controlled many rural areas and have fought and weakened the Atlantean forces for centuries by this point already. To the surprise of both clans, however, in 1050, White Silence under Nikilia Ario offered to join the fights on their side. She saw bigger gains in giving up her independence instead of risking future fights against other Kinari. The clan joined the others and together they eventually formed the Confederation of Kinary. Many regions that were part of big battles and these rural areas that were already in control of the clan are to this day under their control.
