Minjung Yonki (min-jung YUN-ki)

Minjung Yonki is a country on the coast and is somewhat secluded from the other countries, however Minjung Yonki is a well organized country. They export most of their excess goods, and rarely ever import.

Minjung Yonki is a private country and most people don't know much about them. Outsiders are rarely seen in Minjung Yonki and because of that they have a unique culture.

People
The people of Minjung are private people. Most have a small friend group consisting of people from their neighborhood or town. This kingdom also has the most tight-knit family of all the other kingdoms. Minjung families are almost always seen together and is sometime strange when a member is missing. The husband will usually work in a workshop of some kind that produce weapons, textiles, or other products; this workshop is usually located close by either in the town or neighborhood.

The wife will usually stay home and help the children with school. The wife is seen as an important figure, and is the main role model in bringing up the children. The wife also has the responibility of the most important meal of the day. Dinner.

Meals are extremely important in Minjung. That is why families are so closely bonded. At dinner children are allowed to complain, shout and voice their thoughts on any issues they may have. The mom and dad will talk with them with respect and answer whatever questions they may have. Meals, especially dinner, are one of the foundational things that make the family so tight-knit.

The children are brought up in a somewhat strict environment. Outside and inside they are not allowed to shout or scream. Running inside and outside is seen as vulgar. However, children are also allowed to voice their thoughts and opinions. If a child has a problem or has a question he is allowed to ask it without having to feel ashamed.

Structure

At the top of the Minjung hierarchy is the king. The king is rarely ever seen, unlike in other countries were the king is a prominent figure. In Minjung the king's privacy and personal life is respected, and many Jungyans don't know much about their king, besides the laws he passes.

The king is restricted by a constitution, which gives specific instructions and rules that tell what the king is allowed to do and not allowed to do.

Below the king are the spiritual leaders, who are much more prominent figures in the political and spiritual realm. These people are very influential with the people and have a great amount of power, since they are not bound by the constitution.

Below the spiritual leaders are the lords, who attempt to keep the political power to themselves. The lords are more politically influential than the king, and are seen more in the public eye.

Culture

The Jungyans keep to themselves and are very private people. They make choices based on what is best for their families and their lives. If a stranger were to come into town, many would avoid him, simply because of the fact he is a somewhat of a foreigner. Even if that person was from the same kingdom, but not the same town, he would not exactly be welcomed.

Even though Jungyans are private people they are hard working people, who take their country's motto to heart. They love their family. They work hard to get money. And they work harder to get power. Because of those motivations it could be said that the Jungyans have a somewhat selfish culture.

Public Agenda

The one time the king came out to make a public announcement was when the country had just come out of a debt and was entering into a time of prosperity. The king was recorded saying

"I, the king, and you, the people, will work with all our strength to keep the might of our kingdom. I will make decrees. I will pass laws. I will protect and provide for you, my people. And in return I'm sure that you, my people, will return the favor. I hope that you will work. I hope that you will put your love into this kingdom. I hope that with our efforts combined we will continue to grow and expand our land. And I hope that you would take pride in your land. Your home. My kingdom. For Love, Money, and Power. For the Kingdom of Minjung Yonki."

In other words, the Minjung Yonki kingdom wants to be a great kingdom full of love, money, and power.

Assets

The Minjung Yonki kingdom does have a great amount of money from exporting their excess food, and importing very little material. The economy is very good in this kingdom, and the people are able to mass produce food, weapons, and other articles when needed. Many of the men in the kingdom are skilled warriors and have had extensive training in case of a sudden call to war.
