Ionnus

From his humble beginnings in Taracco, Ionnus's journey was nothing short of remarkable. He was taken in by the death warden brotherhood as a boy, and his skills as a messenger, his quick feet, good memory, and horsemanship, made him a well-known figure. It is said he joined the brotherhood when his sister became posssed by a demon, his parents sought out help but had no money to pay for the Warden's services. He volunteered his life in service to the men who saved his sister's.
After a few small skirmishes with the Scalecrest, higher leadership selected him for the Dunwell investigation unit as his first field deployment as a leader among the scouts despite his age. Ionnus was selected by Warden Lucian Argentius to carry the Codex of Corruption away from Dunwell and deliver it to The Aetherhold the ancient bastion of the deathwardens.
We can only speculate what happened between Dunwell and Gwyndara, but the next we caught up with Ionnus, he was twisted by the Codex. Horns sprouted from his head, hooved - goat-like- feet. And he was now endowed by powerful magics from The Hells. He corrupted the town of Dunwell and sought out the Sheared Summit, a ruin of the Daoine Roimhthe. There he summoned creatures from the deep. let them loose into the maze like ruins before being stopped by the Umbra Nex.
