The Nordring Pact

The Nordring Pact is a growing coalition of Eifer clans, Eldonian city-states, and numerous small towns, united under Lachlan "The Bold" Bjornsen to resist The Aeternus Imperium's southern expansion. Initially formed to protect traditional Eldonian territories, the Pact now represents a broad movement encompassing diverse northern communities—warriors, city dwellers, and rural folk—seeking to preserve their independence and culture.

The Pact’s influence varies across the north. In Alderland, the Pact is a grassroots movement supported by local cells among commoners, gaining strength without direct political control. In Greymoor, however, the Pact is the ruling coalition, blending warrior traditions with governance to lead the city in defiance against the Imperium. Meanwhile, in Bayernwald, the Pact is a banned political entity, forced into the shadows, where it operates as an underground resistance network, using covert tactics to undermine Aeternus-aligned rulers.

Recently, the Pact achieved a significant victory by taking Dunwell—a strategic city that had been under Imperial rule for over 70 years. This capture marks the first major reclamation of a northern territory directly from The Aeternus Imperium, galvanizing the movement and proving that the north is capable of pushing back against its oppressors.
