Velgan
Archdevil of Nightmares Velgan (a.k.a. Mistress of Deception)
Velgan was born into a family of powerful demons and devils, the daughter of Kalvon, the Demonlord of Pride, and Aggoth, the Archdevil of Greed. From a young age, Velgan was taught to embrace her power and use it to manipulate and control those around her.
Her brother, Trozzeth, was also born into this family, and the two siblings often competed for their parents' favor and attention. Velgan was always the more ambitious of the two, using her cunning and intellect to outmaneuver Trozzeth and secure her place as her parents' favored child.
As Velgan grew older, she began to focus on honing her powers of manipulation and control, eventually earning the title of Archdevil of Nightmares. She became known as a being to be feared and respected, and her powers were greatly sought after by other demons and devils.
Velgan's ambition did not stop there, however. She eventually married Jalvoth, the Demonlord of Hatred, and together they had two children, Drath'toth and Aredath. Velgan was determined to ensure that her children inherited her strength and power, and she spent many years training them in the ways of the planes.
Now, Velgan rules over her own realm, commanding a vast army of devoted followers and feared by all who dare to challenge her. Though she may always feel the shadow of her parents looming over her, Velgan is determined to make a name for herself as the most powerful and feared Archdevil in existence.
Her realm, the Nightmare Plane, is a twisted and chaotic place where the lines between reality and nightmares are blurred. Velgan rules over this realm with an iron fist, using her powers of manipulation and control to keep her subjects in line.
Velgan is also well-respected among the other archdevils and demonlords of Baator, and she is often sought out for her strategic mind and ability to execute complex plans. She is a formidable force in the eternal struggle for power in the nine hells, and her enemies tremble at the thought of facing her in battle.
Despite her fearsome reputation, Velgan is also known for her cunning and intelligence. She is a master at scheming and plotting, and she always has a backup plan in case things go awry.
