The Donorian Tea Plant is a type of herbal plant native to
Donora and the key ingredient in
Donorian Tea, a popular drink.
Appearance
The Donorian tea plant grows like a vine, low to the ground unless it has something to climb up, hence why people often plant them next to a trellis. The vines of the plant are strong and fibery, helping them grow up along taller plants and objects and still be able to hold up the weight of the plant.
The Donorian tea plant grows dark green circular leaves along its vines. The leaves of the plant are edible and contain caffeine.
The plant reproduces by growing flowers which develop into small inedible seed-filled berries which drop and grow new plants. The flowers of the plant are symmetrical and have spindly petals, they have been described as looking like starbursts or fireworks. The plant flowers in late summer or autumn, with the plant dispersing its seeds before winter so that more can grow back the next warm season as the plant is an annual plant and only lives for one growing season.
The shape, size, and color of the plant vary depending on the specific species of tea plant. The same goes for other things about the plant like size, taste, and heartiness.
