Artedis
Home to the Musura Federation, and capital of their kingdom, Artedis is a beautiful and varied planet. It is larger than earth and has scattered cities dotted along its surface. Its primarily an agricultural world, with the administration of the Federation also taking root here. The population primarily believes in Seerism, and many see Psionic abilities as a gift of destiny.
Settlements
Artedis takes the balance of building tightly compact medinas that do not encroach on the natural ecology of the world. Many of these fiefs are located around the coasts, and have high speed rails attaching them. Many are built as vain fiefs and palaces for the various wealthy figures of the Guilds. They all meet in the one primary city on the planet, Musura City, where each has an embassy, where the Councils govern the stars under their control. Very few are allowed to actually visit the settlements, and most are relegated to the orbital stations above, or the massive gate station above. The population of Artedis though is in the hundreds of billions, with many of the locals here living relatively well when compared to the vast periphery territories of the Federation. The Seerists here are present, though not nearly as prevelant as on planets like Zooma's World or New Jericho. Many who live on Artedis call the Guild of Scribes their home, and a large chunk of the government works in one of the many record keeping ministries located on the planet.Ecosystem
The Ecosystem of Artedis is and consists of a multitude of different environments. Humanity primarily exists around the oceans on the planet, in jagged cliffsides and rugged highlands that cut out into the ocean. Massive waves reaching almost 100 meters tall smash into these cliffs carving out dramatic topography.
The land mostly resembles Mediterranean, with mild wet winter months and warm, dry summers. There are scrub plants and hardy plant life, and small terrestrial animals and birds that fill in the gaps. The oceans are filled to the brim with all kinds of life, nested in super coral reefs, and off coral walls descending down hundreds of meters. The deeper parts of the oceans are filled with large life forms.
