Earth

The birthplace of humanity. Earth is past its prime, and its atmosphere was eviscerated since before the Luna Exodus, and since then those living here have scraped together an existence under smog covered skies. It is now mostly sand and trash, leftovers of the peak of humanity's existence. The planet is technically under the custodianship of the Empire, and a symbol of the Empire's rightful place at the helm of humanity. However, in reality there is little value the planet truly sees on Earth, and it is difficult to control the roving raiders that plague the planet. The real value comes from pre-silence tech and knowledge that can be found here, and salvagers can scrounge up a living selling that tech to imperial authorities. 

There is also rumored to be a temple established by the Judicars here, though if there is it is well hidden.
