Demon
The Ether is the realm of many things, including emotions. When someone among the spheres feel something, it resonates within the Ether. When they feel it strongly, it resonates strongly too. And if one person feels something intensely enough, or if enough people do at the same time, that emotional resonance can coalescence into a being. A demon.
Born out of this emotion, demons are drawn from the Ether by the link to the spheres and fall into reality. They start out with little but their body and their core emotion ,the emotional focus that gave birth to them. Demons gain power and nourishment from evoking that emotion in themselves and others. For this reason, they seek to tempt others into engaging in the same passion that birthed them. Their methods usually start out crude, simply extolling the virtues of their core emotion, but as they grow in age and power, their personality becomes more complex and they usually find more subtle ways to encourage their particular desire.
Born from the Ether, demons are powerful and should not be taken lightly. In combat they are not only blessed with extremely tough bodies, they are usually also equipped with potent natural weapons, such as claws, teeth and horns, with which they can easily dismember their enemies. Furthermore, many demons can summon powerful magical equipment bound to them, tools of their particular trade. They are also capable magicians, brimming with occult energy. All in all, demons usually have plenty of options for dealing with foes and the smarts to utilize them to their fullest.
