Krisakran Thornfist
For elves of a more feral bend, the thornfist is a often used weapon. This gauntlet is usually woven to fit the specific wielder, covering the hands in hardened layers of bark covered in vicious thorns. Each blow from these rend and tear into the enemy, leaving gaping wounds in its wake. The gauntlets are hardy enough to survive most damage and can mend themselves if needed, given to appropiate materials.
Should enemies try to keep the wielder at bay, the thorns can extend into a shape more reminiscent of long claws. In this shape they are less capable of tearing into the enemy, but the added length allows the elf to hit tragets who'd otherwise be able to stay out of their reach.
