Pholerus

Pholerus had formerly been a Vainite sea captain who sailed the seas south of Wessa. As a successful merchant, he was one of the original associates of Duke Touri Southaven, and helped transport colonists to Traudira after the fall of Southaven.
During of the early exploration of the territory around New Haven, Pholerus and his crew discovered the ruins of the ancient Traudiran city of Aeseliar. They had the misfortune of encountering an ethereal portal that altered their physical bodies on a cellular level, transforming them into the Saurian species.
Captain Pholerus lived the remainder of his life in the form of a lizardman, commanding his ship the Gidira. In the course of his adventures, Pholerus encountered Kirik Di'Arro and Genneanne, and was caught up in their mission. Though rejected by many, Pholerus traveled the seas around Traudira and Menoris, eventually making his way north to the Midrun Sea. He founded a Saurian community along the Caal River, south of Port Hansra.
