COPPER AGE
The Age of Spirits goes back to the days of Creation, prior to the recording of human history. It is the age of myth and legend, as described in the ancient Scriptures of the Fae. In this age, Dragons came to rule over the Janniri in the ancient land of Arkhea until they were banished. After the rise of the Elva, this era came to an end under the fiery wrath of God in what is known as the Great Cataclysm. (Read more about The Age of Spirits.)

EARLY BRONZE AGE
The Age of Advent reaches back to the earliest days of human civilization, dominated by the culture of the ancient Fae in the arrival of the Ilmatar. Little is known of this era beyond scriptural legends passed down by people of faith. The years after the Great Cataclysm saw world-wide destruction, with regression into a dark and warlike age. MIDDLE BRONZE AGE
The Manifestation marks the beginning of recorded history in the Standard Reckoning (SR) and a short era of time known as the Age of Incarnation. During this period, the major balance of power shifted from the descendants of the Traulls to the descendents of the Elva. In this period the Traull Wars came to an end, with the Elvani Fae led to victory by the Ilmatar "maidens of the air." (Read more about The Age of Incarnation.)

Age of Epiphany

LATE BRONZE AGE
The era was one of great development and advancement dominated by the Elvani Fae, when in their global travels, they began to split into what would become the major Fae subgroups of later eras. The Lunari Fae of Wessa spread west to Vhoria, and south to the region of the Sun Sea (becoming known as the Solari). EARLY IRON AGE
The Age of Nations saw the founding of the Aisheloni and Uruk cultures in Aishelon and western Vensia, and concluded in the days of the great law-giver Urukaan. It was also the time when the Ummir Empire of Nøerdewessa was at its height. It is the era in which the Seven Great Swords were forged by Ilmarinen the smith, representing the Word of the Ruler spreading out to all the world. (Read more about The Age of Nations.)

Age of Exile

MIDDLE IRON AGE
Thhe Age of Exile was a time of disruption and dispersion of previously established cultures. Many indigenous peoples migrating from their homelands to new lands -- some in conquest and some in retreat. For the first time, competing Fae, Düergun, Aisheloni, and Uruk cultures were put into direct and constant contact with one another. During this period, the Vainite “Great Kingdom”, the seafaring Mirriling Empire, and the southern Ismani Caliphate were founded and flourished. (Read more about The Age of Exile.)

Age of Restoration

RENAISSANCE
The brief period after the reignition of the Crucible is known as the Age of Restoration. It was a time of cultural renaissance and renewal. In this period, ethereal power began to reveal itself again in mysterious ways in the world, hinting that some great transformation had taken place. These were the days of Torgon the Prophet, when visions of the restored flame were granted to the faithful, and all seven of the lost Great Swords were gathered to the Hall of the Crucible.
