Electric Living Apartments

This building that is still under construction is planned to be the very first fully electic building in Tri City. Mayor Vanderfeller and JP Blooman dreamed up this project for more than just the premium prices they can charge for luxury apartments. JP Blooman plans on cornering the market and making Tri-City Trading an undisputed monopoly in the brand new market of electric appliances.

This no expense spared construction cost a great deal of money. Many Corpos across the city, however, showed great interest in investing in the project and having a guaranteed fully electirc apartment.

Part of JP Blooman's plan was to initiate a round of layoffs and expense cuts at Tri-City Trading that would allow him to buyback an massive amount of stocks. This would in turn give the investors in Tri-City trading an unexpected influx in wealth, that they would then be able to spend on his fully electric apartments. This plan would, however, cause a lot of working class people to lose their jobs. But that's a small price to pay to advance your own monopoly.

With the concept of electricity in the home being very new, it would take a great deal of testing before the project could be approved. It was of course not acceptable to test these potentially dangerous new technology in the rich part of town, so Mayor Vanderfeller bought a Small Workshop in Bricktown to test the electricity in a place where only poor people could get hurt.
