Thread 1.2.1: Alderaan Raiders

Summary

The The Alderaan Raiders are a group of former Rebellion soldiers who continue taking the fight to the Imperial Remnant and refuse to recognize the The New Republic, especially since the treaty with the Imperial Remnant.

Carida Memorial Station

The Initiates first encountered the AR during a meeting between them and the head of the Carida Memorial Fund, Jaychan Warrsil. They were working together to target rich visitors to the station who the AR would then rob, sharing the credits with the CMF. They also ended up kidnapping Master Dal Konur when he accidentally discovered the plot. When the padawans saved their master, they struck a deal with the AR to not report their relationship with the CMF if they let Master Konur go.

Informal Relations
While at a dinner party with Incom Corporation CEO Kritia Haccor, Lyshea snoops around her estate, finding her way to Kritia's office. She downloads everything she can from her personal workstation, which includes an image of a woman in revealing clothing that has the words "Forever Yours, Kylett" on it. From their run-in with the The Alderaan Raiders on the Carida Memorial Station, they remember that Kylett Dandean is their leader.

Khomm

The Dead Reckoning
When The Initiates come out of hyperspace in the Khomm system, Lyshea notices that the large, red cruiser in orbit around the planet matches the description of the Dead Reckoning, the mobile HQ of the Alderaan Raiders.
Lyshea The Guest
Lyshea heads out on her own to explore Khomm 1. A few hours later, the Jedi receive a comm from the The Alderaan Raiders on board the Dead Reckoning in orbit overhead. Apparently Lyshea came looking for them and they are now keeping her on board as a "guest". They would like the padawans to join them on their ship to discuss the situation.
Short Negotiations
The Initiates fly The Mynock's Wing to the Dead Reckoning  to meet with the The Alderaan Raiders. Lem convinces Rin to build a vest for him with explosives to use in case things don't get well when they meet with the AR. However, the meeting does go well and Kylett Dandean  and her second in command, Reedan Lanbel, agree to let Lyshea go as long as she doesn't report to anyone about what she witnessed on Khomm. Unfortunately, when Kylett gives Lem the traditional Alderaan embrace, it activates the explosives. Rin is barely able to disarm them before they blow all of them to pieces, but Kylett and Reedan are not very happy about the unexpected near-death experience. 
Imperial Attack
As the group goes to Lyshea's room aboard the ship to bring her back with them, an alarm sounds. Two Imperial Remnant Gozanti cruisers have come out of hyperspace and are firing on the Dead Reckoning. By itself, the ship doesn't have time to break out of orbit and make the jump to hyperspace, so Kylett tells the Jedi that they better help defend them or they're all dead. Oh, and they're holding Lyshea at blaster point just to make sure they don't run off and leave them there to get destroyed. Tomla elects to stay with Lyshea on the Dead Reckoning, which means that The Mynock's Wing is a crew member short. Rin and Lem convince Vass Manduc to help them crew the ship, which he readily agrees to since the alternative is none too pleasant. After a tense space battle, the Dead Reckoning and the Mynock's Wing prevail, destroying the two Imperial cruisers.
