Hysteria 02: "Deja Vu"
General Summary
After two weeks spent recovering and training in VR, Hinata returns to basic training to find that Ludo is upset with Ruben over his privilege in the context of a forthcoming competitive training period which determines those who become officers. After a grueling week of training and conversation about why people fight, Hinata heads to Mont-de-Marsan on a day off.
Visiting the grand Galactic Oasis casino, Hinata uses a synch-gate to send Mitsuru his financial details, and sees Alexander Tanner playing live music. After a moment of deja vu, Hinata meets Astrea, a mysterious former GUSF officer looking for Tsutsumi Hano. Due to her mech being sabotaged by the locals, she makes a deal with Hinata requesting his help in exchange for her giving him piloting lessons.
After an additional week of training, Hinata meets with Louise on the planet below, heading to the royalist Salon de la Victoire in Ville de Cendres. After getting drunk and opening up to Louise, her and Hinata enjoy a concert before heading out into the night. Hinata stumbles into peculiar local fauna before being cuddling with Louise and sleeping in her sweltering mech.
