Galactic Union of Space Forces

The Galactic Union of Space Forces, commonly known as the GUSF, is elite spacefaring militarist organization founded in 2225 by Martian-aligned Global Union space forces during the Union's collapse. It controls a number of space colonies and fleets, and is headquartered on Luna.

Reputation

The GUSF is considered to be the most strict and isolationist Fringe faction. As a former arm of the Global Union, the GUSF possesses rare proprietary technological blueprints that allow them to produce military equipment of high quality. Due to the GUSF's devotion to the protection of humanity from outside threats, they are generally tolerated by most political entities.
The GUSF consists almost entirely of generational soldiers. Outside entry into service in the GUSF is rare, with 99.8% of prospective applicants being rejected based on 'unsatisfactory genetic material'. The specifics of what makes a candidate satisfactory have not been publicly determined.
