Personality

Mitsuru is fiery and protective of her younger brother Hinata Shinkawa. She doesn't believe in relying on tricks, or relying on anyone but herself and Hinata.

Life

Born and raised in the small town of Tomioka on the dry hot planet of Meleager, Mitsuru was indoctrinated into the Ecliptic Order by her mother Ai from a young age. Going door-to-door proselytizing for the cult alienated her from the local community. After her father Saburo didn't join the order, a rift opened in the Shinkawa family, and Ai began giving money to the Ecliptics behind Saburo's back, culminating in domestic violence that split it apart by the time Mitsuru was eleven years old.
In high school, at the age of eighteen, Mitsuru's brother, Hinata, was abducted by the Black Sun Syndicate during a raid on Meleager. He was to be sold into slavery, but was instead saved and recruited by the SVG, prompting Mitsuru to join as well.
