Trappist System
The TRAPPIST System is a core star system centered around the ultra-cool red dwarf star TRAPPIST-1 in the constellation Aquarius with a planetary system of seven known planets. It was originally settled by the Global Union and is governed by the Martian Technocratic League.

TRAPPIST's star's mass is about 9% of the Sun's with a radius slightly larger than the planet Jupiter and a surface temperature of about 2,566 K (2,293 °C). The star is 40.7 light-years (12.5 pc) from the Sun and is estimated to be 7.6 billion years old.Colonization
Attempts to colonize the system have only resulted in partial successes; as such, it has poor habitability and a general lack of amenities. Some of its worlds have characterized as impoverished Synch-worlds by outsiders.
