History

Life and Career

Morgan chooses to share next to nothing about his life before he joined the voyage. All that is known is that he is a member of the Earthen Ecological Society and volunteered for the voyage to represent the organization.
This has caused some tensions within the crew as the Earthen Ecological Society and The United Space Confederation hold contrasting views on how best to ensure humankind's survival.

Differing Views

The Earthen Ecological Society believe that humanity's resources should be focused on rebuilding earth and sustaining the population. However, the United Space Confederation believes that the Earth is no longer viable and that an alternative planet can be found in space.
Although there are some individuals within the organizations whose opinions are less extreme, they represent a minority who are not often heard.

Crew Relationships

Because he holds different view from the rest of the crew, Morgan feels isolated from the others onboard the voyage. The other crew members are not very trusting of Morgan because they believe he may be spying on behalf of the Earthen Ecological Society who strongly oppose the Voyage.
Morgan, however, actually represents the minority who believe in a middle ground between the two organizations. He thinks that the Earth should be protected primarily, but to not look for other solutions would be foolish. He chose to volunteer for the voyage so that this opinion could be represented.
