The Council of Searing Sun

Council of Chean nobles primarily responsible for shaping the country in Au'ril's absence. Originally composed of houses belonging to the Rhok'delar and Mercurian nobility, the council has gradually became more and more dominated by the natives of Mount Taniyan. At present date the Rhok'delar have but one seat on the council. And although Ca'hrethi cries for aid, the council refuses to commit troops to The Great Plains War, as they claim Arg is simply waiting to swoop in and secure the crown jewel of Chean, Mercuria itself.

That is the position maintaied by Bah'stet, The High Steward of Mercuria at the very least.
