Fellspire Mountians
Geography
The geography of the Fellspire mountains is unlike any other seen on Erde. Though rising above the Savaan Desert and the Galikshrin Forest, the mountain range is canyonic in feature—boasting an mostly arid climate and rock formations typically found in places of much lower elevation.
Scholars of Eagle's Beak College of the Arcane (situated where the mountains meet the end of the Southern Koskarns) theorize that the Fellspires may not be natural in origin, due to their unusual attributes and the presence of Mount Balaur in the desert's center. Like much of Savaan's history, the true nature of the region's geography seems to have been lost to time.

Fauna & Flora
Flora
Due to the climate and rocky nature of the mountains, plant life is relatively sparse—though it is a bit more common place on the northern side of the mountains. Cactus and a few hardy bushes and trees populate most of the mountains. Interestingly, saguaroi are known to grow and populate within the mountains.Fauna
Another unique attribute of the Fellspires is the commonplace of dinosaurs, and other creatures often considered to be near extinction or highly endangered. These massive reptilians often fight for territory among the more savage giant races of the mountains, and can pose a serious threat to humanoids travelling through the region.
