Jacob Ward

(a.k.a. Jack)

History

Lou Freshblood and Martin Holmes first encountered Jack while investigating the mysterious disappearances of children in Last Haven. Jack was a runaway child from Mrs. McCurdy's orphanage who eventually found his way to a portal leading to Saccharine after Freshblood and Holmes tracked him and the disappearing children down to a warehouse near the edge of town.

While unschooled, Jack has shown an incredible faculty for thinking and operating under pressure, using his environments and assets available to accomplish his goals. He was able to temporarily evade Freshblood and Holmes by using potions he had at his disposal, and was able to slip out of Last Haven City Guard holding without arousing suspicion.
