Kastill Grounds
Kastill Grounds is a city located in the mountainous hills of the Recs Altera, and is the access point for the Three Fortresses, which contain Palatia, Academopolis, and Magobrium. Kastill Grounds, sometimes simply called "Kastill," is lower in elevation and down the mountain from the three fortress cities in a common, shared mountain basin valley. Kastill is home to many city amenities like a market, inn, guildhall, and mayoral residence.
Soldiers on their way to the Military Academy, scholars on their way to the Library of Magic, and crown officials heading toward Palatia all must pass through Kastill Grounds first, which is heavily patrolled and well-kept.
Kastill is ruled by a mayor who is typically a local Ghadjoan human. The current mayor is Ebenezer Acrapulos, and is in charge of supporting the three fortresses, to an extent, managing shipments and ordering goods to be sent up from other locations across Orcli by means of Port Citadel.
Kastill is not accessible from the rocky, coastal cliffs of Ghadjo. It is only accessible from uphill roads ascending from Port Citadel to the north. Therefore, Kastill is greatly defended and patrolled, along with the other forts of Ghadjo.

History
Originally the Ghadjoan capitol, Kastill was repurposed as the royal capital of Orcli due to its defensible position and central location in relation to the Twells of Orcli. To increase protection, the Three Fortresses were created to insulate and separate military from magic from monarchy.
