King Barov von Zarovich
King Barov von Zarovich was the ruler of Tverdzavia, and Strahd's father. The founder of the empire, he was very much a war king, dedicated to expanding his empire as much as possible — it seems he raised Strahd to do the same. Strahd named Barovia in tribute to his father, but King Barov died before he received news of the tribute.
