King Arunn Meiron (King Ah-roon Meh-ron)
King Arunn Meiron
The current King of Elath. Eighth of his line. King Meiron is an elderly half-elf. At age 172, he is old and grey. Two narrow eyes peer from their small sockets above a long, thin nose and lipless mouth. He has faded, wrinkled skin and sparse grey hair. Once tall, he is now hunched and stooped with age. He used to be a well-muscled man, but they have wasted away with time, leaving him frail and boney.
When he was young he lead the invasion of Pewhiyrhiel, then Drauk, then Kingdom of Asturg. He was cut with a poison blade in the Battle of the Burnt Plains, during the War of the Needles- he recovered but seemed to lose his taste for war. He would rarely turn up to his court, preferring carousing to the tedious administration of rule. In recent years he is no longer seen at his court, sending his chamberlain to declare his edict and give his decisions.
