Kingdom of Elath (Eh-lath)
The Kingdom of Elath is a temperate country that runs to cooler temperatures in the southernmost reaches. It has warm summers and cold to cool winters. The majority of the population resides in the south, below the inner sea.
Barons and some Dukes run the various regions under the King's rule. Birezor used to be the primary deity, but that changed after a treaty with the See of Frelor that made the countries allies. Elath changed to Urzor with the treaty, to more closely align with Frelor.
The Kingdom of Elath is ruled by King Arunn Meiron. The Meirons have ruled the kingdom for 8 generations. They are a family of warrior kings and have fought all the neighbouring countries at some point. The Kingdom of Elath was once four small countries, that were all conquered at differing points and absorbed into the kingdom. In King Arunn Meiron's rule, he has fought multiple wars and taken land from Pewhiyrhiel, Drauk, and Kingdom of Asturg, gaining territories such as Pikestone, the Fenlands, the Needles, and Benacke Forest - The Great Forest. While the inhabitants of the original Elath celebrated these conquests, there continues to be civil unrest in the conquered provinces that sometimes require the military to quell them.
