Full blooded elves tend to be tall and lean. They have a thin, willowy body structure.
Coloration of skin and hair for elves is as varried as humans. The full spectrum of light to warm colors, including coppery and ebony skin tones can be found. Additionally, some elves have silvery white or light blue, or green hair. Eye color is often brown or golden.

Elves have significantly longer life spans than many of the other beings on Sylinia. They can live up to 700 or 800 years old.
The extended lifespan does also correspond with an extended maturity period. Up until about 100 years of age, an elf is still considered to be a child or young adult.

Due to the fey ancestry of elves, they are less susceptible to being charmed and magic cannot put them to sleep.

Elven families often give their children a "first name" that is their childhood name. When they come of age, they will take a longer adult name. An elf chooses their own adult name, often drawing inspiration from nature, historical figures, or artistic movements.
