Before Time - Year 1 Shelar Period
Sometimes referred to as Before Time, The Millenia of the Gods is a pre-documented historical period. According to myth and legends, this was when the Gods still walked upon Sylinia, before they Ascended, never again returning in corporeal form.
As this era is before written historical record begins, any dates are approximate and have been identified through archeological means.
There is much debate in academic communities about exactly how long Sylinia has been inhabited. The only thing that is agreed upon is that the earliest civilizations dawned some time during this period.

Year 1 of the Shelar Period is identified as the founding year of Three Moon University in Shelar. This is the earliest known organized institution of knowledge, and therefore is pointed to as the first year of modern societies on Sylinia.

The Founding of the Atalan Nation
FoundingThe intergalaxy class spaceship The Atalan experienced a catastrophic systems failure as they entered a previously unexplored solar system. They were able to manuever their now defunct ship into orbit above Sylinia in about 101 ND. The ship crashed on what is now Da'kel Island. The surviving crew used the technology they were able to salvage from the wreckage to found a new civilization, the Atalan Nation.
