Wyrmfang Bay (Maw)
Wyrmfang bay is a large bay located on the west coast of
Imera, and effectively sitting on the border of
Ulfgard and
Ordan. Named for the shape of it's rocky coastline (which resembles the jaws of a massive dragon), the bays treacherous terrain has long made sailing through it a challenge for all but the most skilled sailors. Despite its dangers, Wyrmfang Bay has been a vital part of the sea trade of both Ulfgard and Ordan.
The Hall of Kings (Crypt)
Located within the Palace of the High King, the Hall of Kings is a large tomb built to serve as the final resting place for all of
Durfaehns High Kings. First constructed during the reign of High King Thurim Arenak, the Hall of Kings provides a tangible connection to the history of the Dwarvish people. Even centuries later, the Hall of Kings remains a place of great cultural significance to the Dwarves, encapsulating their desire to leave a lasting legacy of their people in the world.
Kirchstadt (Dock)
Kirchstadt is a port city located in north-eastern
Athenor, on the east coast of Imera. Besides its role in Athenors naval trade, Kirchstadt is best known for containing the largest and most industrious shipyard in mainland Imera. The Kirchstadt Shipyard is responsible for producing the majority of Athenors ships (both military and civilian), and plays a vital role in maintaining the strength of the Athenoran fleet, with only
Navalonia matching them in terms of ship production.
Lynora (Island)
Lynora is the central and largest of the
Silverlight Isles. Thanks to its centralised location among the rest of the Isles, as well as its plentiful access to various natural resources, Lynora stands as the seat of power for both House Nurath and the
Moon Elf monarchy. While each island is considered to be somewhat independent from one another in their governance, Lynora is still acknowledged as being the centre of authority among the Moon Elves.
The Gleaming Hollow (Cavern & Crystal)
The Gleaming Hollow is a region of
the Dark Hollows located beneath the human the Human nation of
Myrell. Best known for its abundant deposits of
Aetherite and Glowing Crystals, The Gleaming Hollow is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful locations within the Dark Hollows, and is one of the few places within this vast underground realm to regularly receive visitors from the surface. Additionally, a number of
Ratfolk and
Kobold settlements can be found within this region, with nearly all of them focused on studying magic in one way or another.
Palace of the High King (Palace)
Located within the
Dwarven capital of
Dhal Thurim, the Palace of the High King is considered to be one of the greatest examples of Dwarven architecture it Taeva. As the home of the Dwarf High King, as well as the place where all future High Kings are crowned, it's also considered to be the most important place in all of
Durfaehn. It's also within the palace where the
Council of Lords convene to discuss matters that affect all of Dwarvenkind.
The Rats Nest (Haven)
Located beneath the city of
Carran, the Rats Nest is the main headquarters of
the Dock Rats thieves guild. Formerly a
Ratfolk settlement established during their early ventures to the surface, the Rats Nest has long provided a safe haven for members of the Dock Rats when they aren't on the job. Thanks to its well-hidden location, as well as the secrecy of its members, the Rats Nest remains beyond the reach of the local authorities, ensuring the Dock Rats will remain a constant presence within Carran.
